• Shellaro is licensed under the Shellaro Software License: free for personal and commercial use, closed source (LICENSE.md). Copyright © 2026 Dvir Horev; DvirLabs is the brand.
• Help & About shows the copyright and the Shellaro license; the website has a License page.
• Third-party notices also cover the Microsoft WebView2 SDK loader, the Rust standard library, the installer (NSIS) and build-tool code, and say where the source of the MPL-2.0 components is.
• The license and notices are published next to every installer.
• Use is free, but redistribution of Shellaro (mirrors, repackaging, software centers, handing out the installer) needs authorization; get Shellaro from official channels.
• The Extension SDK and CLI are MIT licensed, with LICENSE files. The public extension formats (manifest, permissions, Command Pack, Lab Pack, versions) now live in the SDK; the app uses them from there (docs/LICENSING.md).

Second release candidate: fixes from testing rc.1.

Fixed

• Starting Shellaro while it is already open brings the open window to the front instead of starting a second copy that could save over the first one's sessions and workspace.
• Update problems are described plainly ("Could not reach the update server", "The update could not be downloaded"), with the technical detail after it.
• Extension errors and closed SSH connections are written to the local log.

• An update whose installer address is not https is refused, like one with a wrong signature.
